Before Labor Day weekend took off, NWiR sailed out of the Seattle Harbor with Stoneway Roofing and CertainTeed sponsoring our networking cruise. We had a fabulous time meeting with new members and chatting about upcoming events for our council!

NWiR Seattle Council partnered up with IKO for the annual RCAW Golf Tournament. It was the first time we had an all NWiR Team. Thank you to IKO for continually supporting our local council. We were able to bring new members together for a full day of networking and fun.

GAF opened their Lakewood, WA training facility to the Seattle Chapter of National Women in Roofing in June. The chapter was able to see firsthand the installation of GAF products through their mockup for the upcoming SheBuilds Project with Rebuilding Together South Sound in July. All of those who attended were able to obtain a Certificate for completing the “Golden Pledge Install Training”, along with Care Learning Units.
