2024 SheBuilds Project with Rebuilding Together South Sound

Join the NWIR Seattle Chapter and Rebuilding Together South Sound to give Joanne, a local Tacoma senior with a helping hand on some yard work, a brand new handrail, and a new roof. Joanne has owned her home since 2018 and inherited it from her mom who had lived there since 1981. Back to School Ride

Join the NWiR Seattle Council as they support Coffee Oasis and their annual Back to School Backpack Ride on August 19th, 2023. Coffee Oasis has been supporting children in the local community since 1997, by offering a safe space for homeless youths. The Coffee Oasis has five locations offering help to youth 13-25 years old without regard to religious beliefs, race, color, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, or disability. She Builds

She Builds is a powerful collaboration of women who are dedicated to advancing housing and community issues affecting women. Women-led and women-focused, She Builds, provides critical repairs for women-headed households. The Rebuilding Together South Sound She Builds program features community revitalization projects that provide critical home repairs for women in need. Our NWiR Seattle Council has chosen a home in Tacoma for this year's SheBuilds Project. One Warm Coat Project

This year one of the NWiR Seattle Council's community projects is to collect warm coats on behalf of One Warm Coat. We were able to collect over 60 coats at our hands-on event with Lomanco at the new CDS/Stoneway location in Kent, WA. Thank you again to Paul Robbins of Lomanco, and the whole Stoneway/CDS Teams in Kent! It was a great turnout and a lot of fun!
