Roof Donation for the Veterans Village!

Members of the NWiR Oregon Council re-roofed a building at the Veterans Village for the Housing Authority of Clackamas County, Oregon. We worked together with Bliss Roofing, Inc, Malarkey Roofing Products, and Dealers Supply Co., to donate materials, labor, and equipment to get the job done in one day. Oregon Supports Good Neighbor Center

ABC Roofing volunteered to donate the labor and materials necessary to complete a new laundry room addition at the Good Neighbor Center in Tigard, Oregon. First hybrid council meeting in Oregon was a success!

The Oregon Council decided to offer a hybrid version for their April meeting last month. The meeting had one of the highest levels of participation since the start of the pandemic last year. Christmas for Anisa’s Place 2020

Back in February 2020, the NWiR Oregon chapter teamed up with Village for one to put a roof on Anisa’s Place. Village for One is an organization that helps children who have been victims of sex trafficking. Anisa’s Place is a home that houses 6 of these children. 30 Days of Gratitude Giving Box

The NWiR Oregon chapter loves this time of year! We couldn't wait to get the word out about our Thanksgiving event. We had over 12 companies participate, delivering over 100 giving boxes and $2,000 worth of monetary donations to the Oregon Food Bank.
