Members of the NWiR Oregon Council re-roofed a building at the Veterans Village for the Housing Authority of Clackamas County, Oregon. We worked together with Bliss Roofing, Inc, Malarkey Roofing Products, and Dealers Supply Co., to donate materials, labor, and equipment to get the job done in one day. Malarkey OmniSeal Self-Adhered flat roof system as well as the roof load was donated by Dealers Supply and was installed by five Bliss Roofing employees. Malarkey gave out lots of swag including $100.00 gift cards to each installer as well as hats and sweatshirts. They also provided a photographer and onsite trainer to oversee and train our employees on the product and help with labor installation. Bliss Roofing provided an Equipter and drop box as well as breakfast, coffee, lunch & refreshments for all. A few other members from our council joined in on the fun too!

It is made up of 3 buildings (shared community space, kitchen, bathroom) and 30 individual pods that house local veterans. This program is a transitional community with case managers that work with each Veteran to help address needs and work towards permanent housing.
