Built for the Climb: Strengthening Your Foundation, Expanding Your Support Network, and Becoming a More Confident, Resilient You
This presentation explores how intentionally strengthening your personal foundation and developing a meaningful support network can help you navigate challenges with greater confidence and resilience. Using the example of a mountain expedition, participants will identify what keeps them grounded, who belongs on their “rope team,” and how to prepare for personal and professional obstacles. This session will provide practical strategies for building authentic relationships, trusting your abilities, adapting when conditions change, and supporting others along the way.

Renata Lemke is the Human Resources Director for Southwest Building Solutions, where she partners with executive leadership to build people strategies that strengthen culture, develop leaders, and drive organizational success. She holds a bachelor's degree in human resource management from the University of Arizona Global Campus, graduating Summa Cum Laude, and brings more than six years of progressive HR leadership experience.
Her expertise includes talent strategy, organizational development, mergers and acquisitions integration, total rewards and benefits strategy, compensation planning, employee engagement, leadership coaching, HR technology, compliance, and change management. Renata is passionate about helping organizations create workplaces where people feel valued, connected, and empowered to grow.
Beyond her professional role, Renata and her husband, Joey, are raising six incredible teens, where resilience, teamwork, and adaptability are part of everyday life. Whether hiking, camping, mountain biking, or paddleboarding, she believes many of life's greatest lessons about leadership and confidence are learned through shared experiences and strong relationships.
