Professional Bio
I serve as the Human Resources and Sales lead at Old World Construction, Inc., a roofing and restoration company based in Colorado Springs, CO. While I’ve officially been with the company for two years, my connection to the trade runs deeper through my husband—the company’s general manager—and over two decades of personal involvement.
Before beginning my roofing journey, I worked in career development with El Paso County and Goodwill Industries of Southern Colorado, helping individuals overcome barriers and build meaningful careers. In 2009, I was honored with the Helms Legacy Award, which recognized my dedication to mentorship, leadership, and service. I also provided hospice care for three elderly relatives in my family, experiences that taught me compassion, resilience, and the value of being present for others.
I hold state certifications in Supervision and Human Resources through the Mountain States Employment Council in Denver, and I continue to bring that expertise into my work today. At Old World Construction, I focus on employee support, customer relationships, and community outreach. I also serve as the Membership Chair for one of the most active NWIR councils in the country, where I advocate for mentorship, education, and creating opportunities for the next generation of roofing professionals.
Outside of work, I’m a proud mom to two sons (ages 26 and 15), a grateful bonus mom to my daughter-in-law, and excited to become a first-time grandma soon. I’m also kept busy by two energetic fur babies and my son’s high school athletics, where I lead fundraising efforts. At the heart of everything I do—whether through family, work, or NWIR—is the belief in lifting others up and creating pathways for growth and success.
