Professional Bio
Michelle Ly builds her life around hard work, community, and family. As the daughter of Vietnamese refugees, she watched her parents overcome incredible challenges to create a stable life. Their resilience taught her the value of determination and purpose.
Michelle leads as a mother, wife, and business owner in Round Rock, Texas. Her daughter, Reagan, inspires her to actively contribute to a community where future generations can thrive.
With her husband, Erik, Michelle co-owns Hall Roofing and Construction, The Rock Sports Bar, Alcove Cantina, and The Flats Round Rock. She takes an active role in guiding her team, solving problems, and ensuring her businesses reflect integrity and trust.
Michelle was the 2023 recipient of Beacon's International Female Roofing Professional of the Year and 2021 Round Rock Chamber's Emerging Leader. HRC was also awarded the 2021 Round Rock Chamber's Big Boy Hester's Small Business Award.
For over 20 years, Michelle has strengthened the Round Rock community through her volunteer efforts and contributions. She supports organizations like Prevent Child Abuse America, the Girl Scouts, Backpack Coalition, Texas Baptist Children’s Home, STARRY, RRISD Partners in Education, and the Texas A&M Scholarship Foundation, donating her time, talent, and treasure to help make a difference.
Michelle stays engaged in local initiatives. She serves with the Rotary Club of Round Rock, Chasco YMCA, Round Rock Chamber of Commerce, Williamson County Children’s Advocacy Center, and the Round Rock City Council. She also completed Leadership Round Rock and the Ascend Emerging Leaders program, a rigorous three-year commitment. Michelle focuses on creating meaningful change. She works hard, stays involved, and finds ways to support her community wherever she can.
