Maria Escamilla

I serve as the Human Resources Manager for Weather Shield Roofing Systems, where I’ve had the opportunity to help build and grow our people strategy alongside a rapidly expanding commercial roofing company. My heart is in creating systems that not only protect the business, but truly support the people who make it run every day.

I’m passionate about leadership development, especially helping foremen and field leaders understand that culture is built through their daily actions. I believe strong companies are built on clear standards, accountability, and genuine care for people. When employees feel valued and supported, performance follows.

Beyond my role in HR, I’m an entrepreneur, a wife, and a mom. My family and my faith deeply influence how I lead with intentionality, compassion, and strength. I care deeply about expanding opportunities for women in roofing and creating space for Hispanic leaders to step confidently into this industry.

Through NWIR, I’m committed to connection, mentorship, and helping women see that they absolutely belong at the table, whether in the field, the office, or leadership.
