Developing strategic partners to advance technology and safety.
As the Technology Innovation Specialist for Tremco Roofing and Building Maintenance Lisa Garcia is always on the lookout for new and exciting ways to bring technology into our business. So, when she meets a strategic business partner who loves technology and safety as much as we do, it’s a perfect match! Lisa will be discussing one of these partnerships next week on a Tremco Talk. Drone use in the industry is expanding. Reducing unnecessary or risky roof climbs, identifying roof hazards, and the speed of data collection are just a few of the advantages of deploying drones for preliminary roof assessments. Join Lisa, Drone Base and other Tremco team members on Thursday October 7, 2021 from 1 – 2 EST to learn more about the safety benefits of drone technology.

Sharing the Tremco Lead with Safety commitment with our NWIR members.
The Education Committee’s Technical Resource theme for September was safety. Right away I knew that Tremco Roofing and Building Maintenance would be interested in helping support this topic. What I did not expect was the overwhelming interest, from the members of NWiR or the support we would receive from the Tremco safety team, in the topic. When we set up the registration, I hoped for 20 – 25 interested members. Just 2 days later we had to close registration with 90+ members signed up for training. The Tremco team accepted the challenge and agreed to deliver 3 separate trainings to accommodate the interest. We wrapped this week with 27 NWiR members trained and soon to be officially OSHA 10 certified. Additional trainings are scheduled for October and November. I am very proud to be a part of Tremco, as the organization steps up to fill a need for safety training within our NWiR membership. At the same time, I am honored to be a part of the NWiR Education committee who coordinates these types of offerings to our membership.
