Many women in roofing report that they are in the busiest season of their lives: caring for children or aging parents, nurturing relationships with friends and family, and balancing work with college or graduate school. At the same time, women want to advocate for the roofing industry and other issues important to them and also advance their careers. To tackle these issues, NWiR is hosting a brunch and education/mentoring session for members in the D.C. Metro area and attendees at Roofing Day on April 18 from 10 am -12 pm at Succotash Restaurant in downtown Washington, D.C. The content of this gathering will be focused on how women can use their unique perspectives to be active in political advocacy, create change in their community and positively impact their careers; everyone is invited to attend.

The last time we had a NWiR gathering at Roofing Day was in 2019, and we are so excited to do it again!
