Erica Sherman, Research Scientist at GAF, is celebrating almost 4 years within the roofing industry. She primarily focuses on new product development but also enjoys conducting applied research in the residential roofing space. Although her work is technical in nature, she eagerly seeks out cross functional learning opportunities and enjoys creating solutions as a team.
Since joining the roofing industry, Erica has focused on her involvement with National Women in Roofing as well as internally within GAF. She has been an active member of National Women in Roofing since 2018, currently serving as the Northern New Jersey Council Vice Chair, and the NWiR Liaison between the Communication and Education Committees. She plays an active role with the GAF Employee Resource group, Women Inspiring Sustained Equality (WISE), as an Empowerment Agent, to drive effective communication and collaboration across its structure, and has served as a Learning Leader within the GAF Management Development Program.
