“Roofing is…Starting a Council” with Katryna Chamblin |
State and local councils serve as a venue for members to connect regularly to exchange ideas, attend educational events, and develop relationships to advance women within the roofing profession. NWiR has started over 50 regional and local councils in the past five years but there is lots of room to grow! In this session, attendees will hear an overview of the process to start a council, all the tools available, the support offered, and how it’s definitely not necessary to reinvent the wheel. Attendees will leave with access to the Councils Toolkit that provides a broad overview of all that leading a NWiR Council entails. This session is intended for new council leaders and those thinking about starting a council.
