Additional Opportunities

NWiR Day Headshots

We are bringing in a professional photographer to take headshots for the day. To help eliminate waiting in line, choose a time slot and sign up here!

Staff the NWiR Booth at the IRE Trade Show

Can you help us by spending an hour or two in the NWIR booth at the IRE trade show? As members, it is a powerful statement that you can make to other women (and men) in the roofing industry about the how NWIR can empower women and help to advance the careers of all in the industry. We’ve got carpet padding, electricity, and wifi – and best of all it is awesome to meet other women and hear their story of how they came to work in roofing. There will be an experienced member (or two) working the booth with you and we will have talking points clearly outlined. Simply go here and sign yourself up.

Monday Karnak Tour:

Join Women Owned Karnak and NWIR on Monday, August 9th for a visit to the Hoover Dam followed by touring, lunch and product demos at the Karnak Manufacturing Facility about 90 miles south of Las Vegas.  This is a great way to see the Karnak Manufacturing facility, learn about coatings, see product demos, eat lunch and spend your day with NWiR colleagues. Don’t miss this chance to network on the drive, win prizes on the bus and a visit to the impressive Hoover Dam – so wear your walking shoes.

Open to all genders, with NWIR members given preference if seating capacity is met. Please wear comfortable shoes and clothes. Shorts and tank tops are completely acceptable as an example. NWiR Board members will provide bus entertainment with prizes! Sign up today and all compliments of Karnak.

Information About Arriving:

Las Vegas Mask Mandate Note that there is a mask mandate for all indoor facilities in Las Vegas. We will have masks available at registration, but please plan to bring one to wear as long as you are indoors.

NWiR Day What to Wear and What to Bring Wear whatever you are comfortable in – a dress and pearls or yoga pants and sneakers. Bring a water bottle, your favorite pen, and at least 50 business cards so that you can keep in touch with other women you meet. During the day, you’ll also have time to chat with some “Wise Women” and ask questions about their stories and experiences; so bring a couple questions/situation/issues that you’ve been wondering about as well.

Online schedule and Conference App:
You can find the online schedule app here. You can use the link to access an app on your phone, or to access a printable version of the schedule.  Both features are available by clicking on the icons on the top, right of the page (also shown below):

Travel & Hotels: Please make your own airline arrangements using your preferred carrier. For hotels, you may book directly with any hotel property or you may use the hotel blocks arranged for IRE. We are often asked “where is everybody staying” and the answer is everywhere! Most people are staying within a mile or so of the convention center.

Accommodations: National Women in Roofing is committed to providing universal access to all of our events. Please contact info@nationalwomeninroofing.com by July 15th to request disability accommodations. Advance notice is necessary to arrange for some accessibility needs.
