REAL Roofing Cohort 4 begins May 9th!

It’s the 21st century. All forward-thinking professionals need to understand how to foster diversity, equity, and inclusion. To fulfill our organizational missions as an industry, and activate our fullest and most profitable potential, we must understand and center these concepts in our workplace culture. This program is designed to establish for some, and reinforce for others, the fundamental principles for getting started.

How the program works:

If you’re ready to invest in your future and that of your company, join us for a six week micro-learning experience. All lessons are less than 20 minutes or less and mobile/web-based with the ability to do at your own pace and convenience.

Three times per week you’ll reason a lesson via text or email, whichever platform you prefer. We will have periodical Zoom meetings facilitated by Mandy McIntyre, program manager, to enable learners to ask questions, provide feedback, and thought reflection. The weekly meetings are optional and are not required to finish the program.

Upon completing the program you’ll receive a digital badge and industry wide recognition! You’ll also gain invaluable insight on how to navigate issues around diversity, equity and inclusion and utilize your skills to enhance your company culture.

  • Ground yourself in the forms of identity that shape yourself and your colleagues
  • Explore the levers that drive destructive social hierarchies in our workforce
  • Understand why inclusion matters.
  • Overcoming incorrect intuitions about others.
  • Model a shared vocabulary for inclusive communication.
