Join the Columbus Council for a virtual Lunch and Learn!  Our Lunch and Learn will feature Jodi Thomas recapping her NWiR Day breakout session, “Mastering the Art of your Elevator Speech”.

An elevator speech is a clear, brief message about you, which is typically 30 seconds or the time it takes an elevator to get to its destination. It should communicate who you are, your interests, and how you can be a resource. This short “speech” has the potential to connect you to future employers, collaborators, or spark interest in customers. Knowing your audience is key and your elevator speech will likely change depending on the circumstance. This entertaining and informative working lunch and learn will break down your elevator speech into four essential parts, each explained with real world examples.

Jodi Thomas joined Altenloh, Brinck & Co. US Inc. (ABC US), in the fall of 2020. Jodi started at The Dow Chemical Company in their Personal Care group in 2010 before moving into their Building & Construction business.
