AUGUST’S CHAPTER MEETING
Date: Wednesday, August 16th, 2023
Location: Lansing Building Products – 2811 Brick Church Pike, Suite C1, Nashville, TN 37207 (once you go up the hill take the 1st sharp left turn)
We’ll be covering some cool stuff like:
-Welcoming and getting to know each other
-Open discussion for additional Council Officers – be thinking about if you’re interested in becoming our Co-Chair or Secretary
-Guest speaker Ms. Samantha (Sam) Smith – Branch Manager and Outside Sales Rep at Lansing Building Products – She’ll be sharing her story about her journey through the roofing trade and how she’s built her career.
-We’ll also have an intro to general gutter knowledge and accessories with Ken Cheeks with GPI

CONSTRUCTION MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS

The TN Council welcomed fellow NWIR member, Mandy McIntyre to lead us in a Mental Health Awareness lunch provided by ABC Supply. Mandy focused on the construction industry and how our leadership can save someone’s life! Kicking off 2023 with a GREAT start!

The TN Council celebrated the holidays early by networking at Board and Brush is Nashville, TN. Members enjoyed dinner provided by SRS and Rackley Roofing while building, painting, and socializing. We are so excited to close the year with a great group of council members! We look forward to 2023!
FINDING FINANCIAL FREEDOM

Erin Hoffman, financial advisor, was the guest speaker for October. She walked us through not only personal budgeting but the importance of budgeting in our offices to help cut cost and find more financial freedoms. Finances are a huge part of business and Erin empowered us to sit down and evaluate the numbers in and out of our daily spend!

Guest speaker, Roger White, empowered us to be our BEST selves for this educational luncheon. We built relationships with each other by asking personal questions, and finding what makes us simply us! The focus was to find our foundation of our lives and how to adjust our lives to be the very best we can be.
