Growing up as the daughter of a small-town residential roofer in Saxonburg, PA, Chelsey Line has always had a passion for the roofing industry and the hard-working people that it encompasses. She watched her father build a roofing business from the ground up and is excited to work in the industry that’s been in her family for generations.
Chelsey graduated from Slippery Rock University with a degree in Professional Studies and an emphasis in Community Recreation. During her studies, she focused on Therapeutic Recreation and volunteer programs. After college, Chelsey spent some time working in the corporate office for a large grocery retailer as an Executive Assistant. Afterwards, she found her way back into the roofing industry working for a large roofing manufacturer as a Strategic Accounts Coordinator.
Currently, Chelsey works at Cruttenden & Associates, the local representative for Versico Roofing Systems out of Pittsburgh, PA as an Office Manager and Executive Assistant. Daily, she is responsible for marketing, social media, meeting and event coordination, architectural and design support, training coordination, and inside sales support. She has the pleasure of working side by side with her husband who also works in the roofing industry in a technical sales position. Her favorite part of the position is getting the opportunity to help others and meeting the many faces of the folks that make up our ever-growing profession.
Chelsey has two small children, Allie and Rowan, that are ages two and one. She is extremely passionate about helping other moms to navigate the waters of having both a career and a family. You’ll often find her helping other moms that work from home to strategize best work from home practices, time management, and finding engaging activities for their kids.
She is most excited to be a part of National Women in Roofing because of the support that it offers for women in the roofing industry. Chelsey loves to write and recently joined the organization as a part of the Writing Team. She is passionate about highlighting the stories of working moms and how men are stepping up to support women in roofing.
Outside of enjoying her career and family life, Chelsey has a passion for bringing people together and you’ll often find her sharing a cup of coffee with her best friends at a local coffee shop or hosting picnics in the back yard. She and her husband are Boston Bruins fans and love the opportunity to travel and support the team. She is also passionate about home organization and loves the chance to constantly make her home a space for her family to enjoy. Chelsey is excited that her passion for people, family, and travel can be incorporated into her work life.
Chelsey believes that National Women in Roofing is a wonderful way for working women and moms to come together and is looking forward to networking with each and every one of you!
