Join us Saturday, May 20 as the NWiR Southern California Council celebrates Somos Mexico: The Great Mexican Folklore Festival from 12:00 pm – 8:30 pm, 3561 Lexington Avenue El Monte, CA. Food festivities and fun for all. As a fundraising event, the council will be selling baked goods and confections to support future council community outreach events.

The NWiR Southern California Council had a LOT to celebrate this month. We kicked off our April 18th meeting with an Easter Egg hunt to take advantage of the beautiful California weather. The NWiR Los Angeles Council has supported Alexandria House for many years…handling roofing needs including rebuilding after a fire in one of the two houses. For the fifth year in a row, the NWiR Los Angeles Council hosted Fun in the Sun for the families who reside or previously resided at Alexandria House in Los Angeles.
