Out of the Darkness Suicide Prevention Walk

At this time of the year when we give thanks to those who openly provide compassion, strength, and assistance to those emotionally in need. Somos Mexico: The Great Mexican Folklore Festival

Join us Saturday, May 20 as the NWiR Southern California Council celebrates Somos Mexico: The Great Mexican Folklore Festival from 12:00 pm – 8:30 pm, 3561 Lexington Avenue El Monte, CA. Food festivities and fun for all. As a fundraising event, the council will be selling baked goods and confections to support future council community outreach events.

The NWiR Los Angeles Council has supported Alexandria House for many years…handling roofing needs including rebuilding after a fire in one of the two houses. National Women in Roofing is asking for your help supporting Alexandria House. Please consider partnering with NWiR as we help “Raise the Roof” for this organization that provides safe and supportive housing for women and children who are homeless.
