Building the community was the focus of attention this month for the NWiR Northern New Jersey Council, who volunteered as the paint crew for Habitat for Humanity’s Women Build Week May 9-12, 2023. The Morris County chapter’s largest project ever is located in Randolph, New Jersey, and is comprised of 25 units of 1-, 2- and 3-bedroom condominiums. The NWiR Northern New Jersey Council partnered with Habitat for Humanity of Bergen County in Westwood, New Jersey to help with their latest build, a 3-bedroom home in Hillsdale, NJ. 2022 marks the 25th anniversary of the Habitat organization of Bergen County where they have built or renovated 100 homes, housing over 200 family members.
