Spring is officially in season and has been pretty amazing in Dallas. At the end of April, we had a night of networking at Topgolf in Fort Worth! Our ladies had a blast. Heather Koenning was recently promoted to the Programs Manager and Assistance Director of Operations for National Roofing Partners in Coppell, TX. She started with NRP in 2014, as a Customer Service Coordinator and was quickly promoted to Service Lead. At the end of January, we hosted a financial wellness seminar with Erin Hoffman. We had about 15 ladies who all had some great financial goals and everyone learned some things we didn't know. We just wrapped up our annual holiday party in Dallas and had the best attendance to date! We featured a "shop small" event where our ladies could shop several vendors such as: Kendra Scott, Finders Keepers, Debbie Lynn's kitchen, The Pet Treat Truck, and CakeNBalls. We had the BEST time playing games, eating & shopping. We also partnered with Kendra Scott to help our favorite charity, Genesis Women's Shelter and were able to donate over $500 [...]

September 22, 2022 was North Texas Giving Day. The NWiR Dallas Board spent some time volunteering at Genesis Women's Thrift Store which directly benefits Genesis Women's Shelter. We cleaned, stocked, tagged new clothes, and got to know some of the employees. They have become a charity that is near to our hearts and we cannot wait to go back and help.
