A huge shout out to GAF and Mike Finster for once again hosting the NWIR Tampa Council with a plant tour and lunch. NWIR Tampa Council was invited to tour GAF’s shingle plant in Tampa, FL. Followed by a presentation from Chris Marlatt, Q & A session, and lunch. Thank you for the awesome pink safety vests…made for women! (Note in our picture)

We will be supporting Kidspack www.kidspack.org at our May event.
They are a non-profit organization that sends home non-perishable foods home with students who would struggle or do not have food for the weekends. Many kids rely on schools for food but go without on Saturday and Sunday. They may not have running water or electric so non -perishable foods are put in discrete bags for kids to pick up at the front office of school. Items needed: Pop Tarts, Chef Boyardee, applesauce, fruit cups, mac n cheese, etc.
