Once again, the NWiR Oregon Council, the Associated Roofing Contractors of Oregon, and Southwest Washington joined forces to provide Christmas gift cards to the children at Margaret Scott Elementary School, located in NE Portland.
In 2021, we collectively raised $15,000.00 in gift cards. In 2022 we raised our goal to $20,000 and we exceeded that with a total of $21,600. This amounted to 864 $25 gift cards. This was a HUGE success as these were the only gifts some of these children received during the Holiday season.
Stephanie Baird was able to hand deliver these to the school and had this to say. “The school is incredibly grateful and overwhelmed with gratitude and appreciation. They cried, I cried, and I am so appreciative of what our industry did as a group”
We want to thank every company in Oregon that helped support this great cause. We look forward to doing this again in 2023.
